Attentive assessment can save lives

by

The endocrine system being a key player in maintaining homeostasis has a very good way of letting us know that there is an imbalance that needs attention ahead of time. If we take our assessments seriously we may be able to catch what others have skipped over. Noticing symptoms such as lumps, skin pigmentation or condition, long standing lesions, edema, nervousness etc., we can encourage a client to see a doctor perhaps well before the client would have felt any physical affects of the imbalance. Therefore, catching these imbalances in a more timely manner to perhaps reverse, slow or prevent the imbalance from continuing or becoming fatal.
