As a massage therapist, you need to give every client an intake form to learn about any surgeries, accidents, illness, etc. that may change the massage. You also need to talk to the client about the form so that they can explain some of their answers, ask any questions they may have, or may even tell you something they forgot to put on the form. You also need to examine the client throughout the entire experience. They may have an injury that they won’t remember to tell you about, but you observe watching them walk, sit, or lay. As a therapist you have to be sure to pay close attention.
