Review of Mosby’s Pathology for Massage Therapists, by Salvo and Anderson. Within the course of Dr. Johnson.
Since this is my first real career course, I get to read first hand about what can actually be attained during a massage session. This chapter is clear on what is contagious and what is not. So that’s good. I like also how it breaks down what’s bacteria fungi and viral infections. That’s an important one. This book is well spoken on lesions and other breaks in the skin and cysts also. My best friend had a cyst on his wrist for many years until he was able to get it removed surgically. I have gotten really sick this past week and being dealing with a fever cough and the whole works. I was drying up my lips and I thought I had every skin condition in this book lol. Funny how when you know something, I was scared I might have everything lol.
